Sunset Marina & Resort – Dale Hollow Lake’s Most Convenient Resort
Sunset Marina & Resort is located just eight miles south of the Kentucky-Tennessee border, immediately off of Highway 111. It is found to be the most accessible resort on the lake, and upon arrival, you will find ample parking, several launch ramps, and a friendly crew ready to assist you. Sunset Marina is a full-service facility featuring a floating restaurant with spectacular view and a ship’s store offering groceries, souvenirs, clothing, fishing gear, tackle, live bate, fishing licenses, fuel, and much more. Located immediately adjacent to the marina is Obey River Campground and Recreation area, making this area of the lake ideal for family outings, meetings, group gatherings, and even reunions.
Sunset Marina offers three convenient sizes of houseboats to choose from – for the small family of four to six persons, there is the 50’ x 17’ boat with three private bedrooms and everything you need to enjoy your vacation. If you have eight to ten people in your party, inquire about the 65’ mid-size cruiser. This houseboat has four private bedrooms and two baths, ideal for the extended family. If you want to relax in style but still have a large group of people to think about, the 74’ x 20’ should suit your needs. This fully loaded houseboat is Sunset’s Flagship - with six private bedrooms and two full baths, you will be set free! Be your own captain and capture the beauty and the prestige of one of the clearest bodies of water in the country. When you pilot one of these luxurious vessels, you are in control and you can choose from thousands of secluded coves to enjoy yourself in. Relax – you have worked hard and now you deserve to enjoy it.
Sunset offers rentals to make your day. You can choose PWC’s ski boats and pontoons with slides. There are paddle boats and canoes available, too!
Sunset Marina offers some of the most unique lakeview accommodations on Dale Hollow Lake. With three different styles to choose from, Sunset’s accommodations sleep from 2 to 14 people. Get away and relax at the water’s edge for a spring, summer, or fall vacation or fishing excursion. Sunset’s accommodations are fully furnished with housekeeping service, satellite TV, and dockage for your boat is available for rent near your accommodations.
Dale Hollow Lake – at 60 miles long, this 30,000-acre reservoir on the Kentucky-Tennessee boarder with over 600 miles of scenic shoreline is one of man’s best creations. This lake is well known for record fishing. After all, the world record small mouth bass was caught in these waters. There are also crappie, walleye, catfish, and state record brown trout just waiting to be caught! How can you resist? Fun! Fun! Fun! Dale Hollow Lake is the only place to go for water recreation and is ideal for the family boater. It is the place to make memories.

Reservation Policy
Reservations may be made by phone or in writing and will be confirmed upon receipt of required deposit. The deposit must be received no later than seven (7) days after the reservation is made or the reservation will be cancelled.
The deposit is not applied to the rental fee. The deposit may be refunded at the completion of the cruise provided the boat is returned clean and undamaged prior to 10:00am CST.
Entire rental charge is due prior to boarding. Rental fee does not include gasoline or oil. NO PETS ALLOWED ABOARD HOUSEBOATS. No credit cards are accepted for boat rentals. Captain must be 21 years of age or older.
Cancellation Policy
This is a very seasonal business with little walk-in trade and necessitates a very firm cancellation policy which is: REFUNDS WILL NOT BE MADE IN THE EVENT OF CANCELLATION OR EARLY TERMINATION OF CRUISE. However, with reasonable notice of cancellation of at least 60 days, a credit may be issued for use in the spring and fall season for up to two years from date of issue.
