Overview

Sulphur Creek Resort on Dale Hollow Lake had its humble beginnings in the late 1950s. In 1978 Mike and Bonita purchased Sulphur Creek Resort looking for a better life away from the rat race of the cities. They built this house boat rental marina from a simple fishing camp to what is now a destination resort.

Since 1981, Sulphur Creek Resort has strived to be a leader in offering deluxe houseboats and luxury log cabins for family vacations. This desire to provide the best vacation experience possible has resulted in family vacations where the children return as adults and are bringing their own children to experience Dale Hollow Lake and Sulphur Creek Resort.

In 1987, a floating restaurant and ship’s store was built to expand the resort’s range of services to guests who did not wish to cook on their vacations or wanted to enjoy an evening out.

The owners and management of Sulphur Creek Resort consider their staff as one of their greatest strengths. Their friendliness and willingness to please their guests has inspired many guests to return year after year.

Reservation Policy

House boat rental reservations will be confirmed in writing upon receipt of your reservation deposit. The entire rental charge plus 6% KY sales tax, and the damage deposit is due prior to boarding. On the day of arrival the reservation deposit hold the boat for an 18 hour period.

Cancellation Policy

Full refunds are given for cancellations made in writing 60 days prior to arrival. Cancellation made less than 60 days will be charged a $100.00 remarketing fee. Refunds are grated only if the entire rental period reserved is rerented. Transfer of reservation deposits must be made at least 60 days prior to the original date, any changes thereafter will be charged a $25.00 rescheduling fee for each change. Changes are made only for the same calendar year.
