Overview
Holmes Bend Marina has been in business since 1970. The current owners, David Butler and his late wife Janice, purchased the marina in 1986. Since then, the marina has grown tremendously with the addition of many new slips of all sizes. All new houseboats have been purchased and all new small boat rentals have been added.
Today, the Butler’s daughter Kelly and her husband Joe manager the marina. It offers a full service restaurant and gift shop, as well as a bait and tackle shop. Holmes Bend also offers gas and pump out services for all boat types, as well as repair service. They also have jet ski, pontoon, ski boat, and fishing boat rentals. The marina has open and covered slips with overnight and seasonal slip rentals.
Holmes Bend Marina offers very friendly, helpful service and all employees have been with them for many years. Being family owned and operated, they are able to offer personal service. You won’t be just a number with them as with some larger companies.
Holmes Bend is famous throughout the area for their hand-made hamburgers. They also have beautiful two and three-bedroom lakefront log cabins, which are guest favorites set in the woods overlooking the beautiful lake. These cabins are luxurious with all the extras. Holmes Bend also offers small Kamper Kabins for people who just need a nice place to sleep. Guests can also enjoy the fishing pier, a sandy beach, and a large new playground with their families, friends, and pets!

Reservation Policy
All houseboats require a $500.00 deposit to be paid by check or credit card within seven days of making reservation. This deposit becomes the damage deposit upon arrival and is refunded when boat is returned after inspection.
Cancellation Policy
Holmes Bend Marina & Resort requires a 45-day notice of cancellation for a 75% refund of deposit. They hold 25% for marketing and processing fees. Any cancellation within 45 days of rental will forfeit deposit. Holmes Bend does honor deposits if boat is rebooked within calendar year.
